You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Ah well I must return to my essay. I've been sitting here for 15 minutes filling this out and I have to actually start working now. I must race against my computer battery.

Bahhh, it's almost 1. I still have... oh, 2k more words to write before I'm satisfied with my word count for today. akleglj

I have four essays/papers that are due Monday and Tuesday. Four. One for every class. I was originally going to just do one a day but it got too late today, so I will try to do two Sunday when I have all day, and the two shorter ones on Monday while I'm being super productive.

For East Asian class, I have to write an analytical thingy on Grave of the Fireflies. It's not hard, I can argue it, but I don't want to get quotes ugh I HATE QUOTING god can't you just believe me. This is due Monday.

For Swedish (SWEDISH!!), I have to write a 250 word paper (which seems like a joke after nano) about a movie we just watched in class. Except, in Swedish. I can't write to save my life. This is due Tuesday because I begged (god I'd hate everything if I had 3 due on Monday).

For my FTS, I have to revise a paper I wrote and then write a paper about the novel we just read. This is due Monday.

For Geology, I have to write a report on the formation of the St. Peter area. This is not hard. This is due Tuesday.

And if things go as planned, I will be caught up on my nano word count tomorrow. My plan is that on the plane home on Tuesday, I will write with no regards to word count. I need to get ahead AGH

I just ate a whole thing of rice and drank the rest of my tea straight from the 2L bottle. It's time for a shower.

AAAAAH OMIGAD STUDY ABROAD

There was a study abroad fair. Naturally, I stopped by. I went to the IES table to get more info because that Nagoya program they have is so tempting. But it's like super intense and really competitive, and you have to actually apply to Nanzan University, too. So, they'll be sending that to me. I will probably get started on the application but I know that I need another appointment in the international office at school before I do anything AHHH

There's also a program that goes to Korea omigad. I shouldn't be tempted. Because if I want to be a Japanese studies major, then I should keep my sights set on Japan since it's required but but but STILL.

I also picked up a big booklet for another program. It not only goes to China and India and Japan, but also to Korea and Thailand and Vietnam and TAIWAN. aogwjiegjo But. It's not a Gustavus-approved program. WHY? It goes to Taiwan. ;_; Also, the header for how to choose a program page says "a slice of the subcontinent or a piece of K-pop? " ...I lol'd because I was listening to big bang hahaha

I'm going to ask the study abroad office if I can apply to multiple programs because because I CAN'T HELP MYSELF I want to go everywhere

So basically, I have no class on Thursday. And I get to eat lunch at a normal hour every day now instead of super late like I do now. I was really worried about getting the Japanese class cos there were only 4 spaces left when I registered. But I got it so yay

Well it's ok. I'm going to go see Santa tomorrow.

1. I changed my LJ layout. I know I just changed it but... a few days ago I looked at it and was like. Wow. All this black is depressing D: So now whenever I see it, even on a rainy day, I can be like IT'S SUNNY OUTSIDE!! But even if it isn't.
   
2. I figured out why I want to go home. I never really felt like "MAN I wanna go home now" in Japan because I was surrounded by concrete, impersonal city people, street lights and night life. But here, I look out beyond the campus at nighttime and all I see is black. Basically, I just miss the city. :(
   
3. I watched episode six of DtB2. All I can say is, ATTA BOY, HEI! I'm proud of you. That's a step in the right direction god.
   
4. Black Friday cosplay shenanigans this year will be DtB. OHHH YEAH

I have to work at NaNo tonight. Things are finally falling into place plot-wise. YEEESSS

Swedish homework has been postponed til tomorrow. I will wake up early and it is my punishment to myself for not doing it.

But! I have been looking at RP type stuff. Then somehow I got involved in looking at old logs on paradisa. Shit was intense. Maggie I miss you ;_;

Um okay I'm going to write another 100 words on my novel so I will only have to write another 100 tomorrow. Ugh I have so much to do tomorrow COMPLAIN COMPLAIN WHINE WHINE

I wrote crazy a lot today to catch up with Saturday's word count. I started the day with about 7k words.

That graph is DAMN RIGHT about me writing more than the expected 1667 each day.
